Let’s find the right words.

I’ve built a career on choosing words that work. Whether it’s raising brand awareness or turning a click into a purchase, I write creative that does what it sets out to do. I’ve spent over 10 years working on in-house creative teams alongside designers, creative directors, project managers and channel owners to turn briefs into magic.

In an average week, I write tens of thousands of words. Sometimes they’re the scribbles that spring out of an energetic brainstorming session. Sometimes they’re TV spots. Sometimes it takes hundreds of words just to land on the perfect 3-word headline. I let experience and data-driven insights guide me to creative that delivers and sounds good doing it.

I love copywriting in all its forms; from blank pages and open-ended briefs that beg for out-of-left-field ideas, to puzzling over headers with tight character limits that must include all the details of the latest sale. I find joy in the fact that in this field, no two projects are entirely the same.

Outside of work, I think about words some more. The novel-in-progress I keep in my desk drawer and reading lots of mysteries keeps me busy. As does walking all over Washington, DC with my dog who, at time of writing, is in 1,339 of the pictures on my camera roll…and I’ve only had her for a year.
